Kolkata: A book discussion event cantered around ‘Artificial Intelligence: A Study’ and ‘ChatGPT: A Study’ by Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma organized on Saturday at Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Kolkata. Eminent technocrats presented their views and notable Hindi poets recited their creations in poetry session organized by Ravi Shankar Upadhyaya Smriti Sansthan, Varanasi. The event brought together a diverse group of avid readers and literary enthusiasts for an evening of insightful conversation and intellectual exploration.
Under the chairmanship of Prof. SP. Mukherjee (Centenary Professor, Department of Statistics, Kolkata University), Prof. R. S. Singh (Acharya, Chemical Engineering, IIT-BHU), Prof. Chitra Singh (Professor, Chemistry, Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal), Yatish Kumar (Author and Chief Workshop Manager, Liluah/Eastern Railway), Dr Rishi Bhushan Choubey (Assistant Professor, Hindi Department, Presidency University, Kolkata), Dinesh Chandra Pandey (Senior Auditor, CAG Kolkata) and the author of the book, Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma shared their views on the topic.
Reflecting on the impact of the book Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma said, ‘Despite ethical concerns and data security risks, the future of AI promises significant advancements in every field, creating new opportunities and challenges. AI will shape the future of world across every industry. An effective and eghical framework is needed for this AI revolution to work in the right direction.
In the poetry session, notable writer-critic Prof. Arun Hota, Prof. Chitra Singh, Yatish Kumar, Nishant, Prof. R. S. Singh, Dr Sunil Kumar Sharma, Sanjay Roy, Rajyavardhan, Anila Rakhecha and Anand Gupta recited their creations. Poet Anand Gupta conducted this session and whole program was coordinated by Dr Aditya Vikram Singh.
